By accessing or using Sweet Union, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

Sweet Union is designed for single adults who are genuinely seeking a serious, faith-aligned, lifelong partnership. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are legally single or otherwise free to pursue marriage under the laws of your country.

3. Account Registration & Verification

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Every member must complete our ID and video verification process before they can connect with others. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that provide false information or fail verification.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Sweet Union to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any user.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Solicit money, promote services, or engage in commercial activity without authorization.
• Share another person's personal information without consent.
• Use the platform for casual dating, infidelity, or any purpose inconsistent with serious marriage intent.

5. Family Features & Consent

Sweet Union allows invited family members or guardians to view matches, endorse profiles, and participate in the process with your explicit consent. You are responsible for whom you invite and what they can see. You may revoke family access at any time.

6. Safety & Verification

While we use ID verification, AI fraud detection, and reporting tools to promote a safe community, we cannot guarantee the conduct of every user. Please use caution when sharing personal information and report any suspicious behaviour immediately.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may require payment. All fees are clearly displayed before purchase and governed by the pricing terms shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided in your account settings.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behaviour that harms the community. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Disclaimers

Sweet Union provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee that you will find a partner. We are not responsible for the actions of other users or for offline interactions that may occur after a connection is made through the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweet Union's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sweet Union operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Sweet Union after changes means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or an in-app notice.
